the lovely ibogaine article

sooooo..i think; rather hope, that everyone else that read this article was at least a little in the woods like i was. I have to admit, on a scientific level, the article upheld its clout. The most believable part of the article, and i say believable because there are those who may have read it with doubt at first, i would have to say were the statistics; statistics that range from those on the actual drug to the stages of its actual disruptance. I must admit, pages 14 to 16 were a little hard to interpret. However, the involvement of different religious groups, such as the Bwiti, help to depict a clearer picture for the reader.Out of my own curiosity to unscramble some of the literature, i looked up some more of the scientific aspects of ibogaine. I found that ibogaine is made up of the chemical composure C20H26N2O (Wikipedia). It also has a melting point of 306-307degrees fahrenheit and a half-life of 2 years. It is found in the plants (dogbane family) and called iboga. The product is now used in 12 countries and 6 continents. Canada and Mexico allow ibogaine treatment clinics, in order to further investigate the drug. While recreational use stays at an unknown level because the price is too high and long duration of effects, use in clinics still precedes in order to learn more about this phenomenon.
